Painting Finished

It was 4 am I was abruptly woken up with a smack in the gob,Mavis was getting up. After she came back to bed I was wide awake. So I made us a coffee. can’t you sleep she asked. No I am awake now so we lay and watched TV until 6 am. I  decided to get up.

I decided after tea last night that I would sit and finish my painting. So determined to.Thats what I did. It wasnt as daunting as I feared. In fact it began to quickly come together. Some rigging here ,rigging there. A few lampposts  a couple of men chatting. Soon it was at that point  that I couldn’t do  any more.

Its been a challenge and I have spent  so  many hours at it since before christmas, but  at times pulling hair but on the whole I am pleased with  the outcome. When I was asked if I could do it I admit I had doubts that it would turn out  so well.

I walked into the lounge to peek at  it propped up on the mantle. Just to see if I was still happy with it. Because I was  here before and changed a lot. But  No it still looks ok.

My problem now is to  find something else to paint.

I found her  searching  drawers. What you lost I asked. A package. What sort of Package. I  white one. Oh here it is. What is it I asked. It’s a border for the bathroom. Can you  change the one in the bathroom  please..

So I ended up  stripping the old one-off and replacing it. I didn’t expect to be doing that today!!!

I think that I am going to  edit my painting again. I will change a bit of it after dinner tonight.
