I thought my back problems were on the mend. But Mavis wanted me to replace a border in the bathroom yesterday. I recon getting up and down on a chair to reach it was NOT the thing to do. I’ve put it out again. Now its back to where it was nearly 2 weeks ago.

I did make a couple of changes to the painting last night. But I have put it away now. I will varnish it later. But I have to get some fresh varnish as mine has gone milky and I can’t risk it.

Mavis managed a short walk today despite the cutting wind. She said ,come on ignore the wind,say to yourself I can do this,it’s not cold,and you will do it.
I said those things to myself but it didn’t work. It was still cold still windy and I was glad to get back to the car. It started to rain I put the wipers on but they were all smeary. When we parked in-car park I found one was split. My side was really smeary. So i said OK its Halfords then. Ok we can call in Sainsburys on the way back. I said we might as well continue the extra mile or 2 and go to sturry`s Halfords. Then we can shop in M&S. The Halfords man fitted new wipers in about 2 minutes. Then a quick walk round M&S. On the way back I needed B&Q. So whats next to that???. Sainsburys. OK Ray you go in B&Q then Find me in Sainsburys.

I think on Monday I will have to go down the Doctors . My back is in agony at the moment. I’ve tried heat pads and pain killers. But they only last a while. I need a good kicking in the bottom of my back to snap it back into place. Its been 3 weeks now. Tonight while eating my meal the pain shot up my back when I leant forward a few inches. It was so painful I almost pushed the fork down my throat. I can’t keep this up.It needs sorting.
