Wednesday

A trip again to hospital for maves blood count check.

When we  called into Asda for some shopping. I noticed  the tyres looked a bit  plump. When I got back out  from the shed came my 12v pump. It pumped up  the 2 front tyres. But  on the 3rd i could smell burning when I checked the pump it was belching smoke. So it  died on me. Its only been used a couple of times. So  out  from under the spare wheel came my littlle pump. That  finished the other2. So I decided to  do the Van tyres. Plugged in. Nothing. . The cigar holder isnt working. Eventualy I had to use my internal  skt. But  the little pump wasnt man enough. It  spluttered and would not pump. I tried it back in the car it works ok so  asking it to pump  65PSI is to muck. I need a new HD pump now.

My pp9  battery charger packed up yesterday so Its a new one of them. Nothing lasts today. We used to say Oh its jap Crap what do you expect. But today its all crap.

>>>

Because I need the cigar  skt working or  I will loose sat nav. Ive been  traceing circuit and fuses. I found offending  blown fuse so thats now sorted. i  found a nut under maves seat  so I  fitted a bolt in that for her, Cant have her leaping through windscreen at  Traffic lights can I.

Tuesday

Blimey. 80 degrees one day and freezing the next. We had to  first put jumpers on,then later we put the heating on it was that cold. Now tea time its warmed up  nearly bed time and the Sun is out. What a climate.

Ive been working on my web today. and a little job in the motorhome.

Not much more. I see that The Producer of Eastenders is leaving. They say its not linked to  the lowest  viewing figures recently . To under 5 million. maybe the script writers should follow suit. Get some humour into the most miserable  show on TV.

For me  its worse than pulling teeth without  novacane.SNF30PHIL-_1773907a

See what I mean. They hope this will raise figures.

Monday

I had a few jobs to catch up on. because getting to  a hose close to my van is difficult. I  bought a big 10 ltr  water can at B and Q Today. I  put 110 ltrs of fresh water in the van tank, thats 11 trips to the tap and back. It was hot but I  wanted to see what it would take.

Its been a day of catching up on the weekend . That  wind has been so strong even though its been warm,it spoils any thoughts of walking far.Ive been trying to sort GMail on my phone and adding tasks. It seems a bit messy.

Sunday

bart9Another nice weekend away.

It started Friday Lunchtime. With  a few changes of Clothes and Enough Food  packed in the van. We set off for Bartons Point. The weather forcast was frightening  for the Saturday eveneing and we were  a bit  nervous. Heavy rain and Thunderstorms. And we were  going to be  right on the point. But nothing ventured nothing gained. WE were soon ariving on site and greeted by larry who was stewarding the weekend. After being  shown whats what we found a spot and parked up. Chairs out and the van all set up we started to enjoy the hot  sunny afternoon.

We met old faces again and chatted away. Saturday morning we laid in and apart from mavis letting louis out  early for a pee we didn’t emerge untill about 10 am. Later  in the day we took a long round walk . I think it  was the longest walk we have done in a while. Certainly  for me since my  problems earlier in the year.  Later  in the day the watherfororcast was coming to fruition. Big spots on the heki were heard. Then  some flashes and a bit of thunder. Nothing like the forecast. But we settled down  to a bit of TV. Sunday morning The entertainment was coach loads of  sea cadets arrived to  take sailing lessons on the lakes. So with  shouts of joy from all the kids we watched them move out  , soon the safety  boat was helping with capsized boats. Because the wind got up very strong and it was blowing the boats over. so the 3 help boats were busy. After a spot of lunch we gave louis a short walk and returned to sit outside in the sun. Joined by 2 friends we passed the afternoon away chatting. But  all good things come to an end. It was time to  start packing  up and stowing the bits back in the van. With  our goodbyes all done we set off  for home. Only about a 40 mile trip. once back  home  a cup of tea was in order. Emails and blogs to catch up with. And so another weekend closes.
