Thursday

DSCF7367A peaceful day today. No TV crews. Louis is fast asleep besides Mavis`s feet. His favourite place.

I wonder who else watches the News and is amazed at the level of  violence, cruelty to animals , wars. Murders. I think the world has gone mad.

If they cut murder and food programs from our TV screens they could condense 120 odd Channels. down to  a handful again think of all the power we could save in electric producing  drivel. Sorry rant over. getting  bitter in my old age.

I see we are now bringing work back to  britain from china because its cheaper here. Why does it takes years for these people to realise what is obvious to most of us from day one.

Please keep safe our Australian friends. I had a Skype with Lou in Australia and she has been away to miss the worse  of the fires. It was lovely only they couldn’t get the camera to work so she saw me and I could see her, which was a shame but we will try again tomorrow. I will get dressed as Im always in my Pink dressing gown when Im on skype in the morning, Arsonists have lit 12 of the 68 fires burning across Victoria, with firefighters battling dangerous winds and conditions that are the worst since Black Saturday.
